Anubis ran up the stairs faster than he had ever run before. He was closely followed by five concerned, sub-armored warriors. As Anubis reached Mia's door he flung it open and sprung into the dark room. His eyes lit up with anger at the scene before him. Taitou was standing by the window, cradling Mia in his arms. Mia was knocked out and there was a trail of blood, which started at her temple. Anubis shook a fist at Taitou.

"What did you do to her!?" He yelled. Taitou laughed.

"She screamed and I had to keep her quiet." He turned her head towards him and looked at the wound. "It's just a flesh-wound, she'll get over it." Ryo, Sage, and the others burst in.

"What the hell is going on?!" Kento yelled, ready to kick some butt. Taitou grinned viciously.

"Don't worry warriors, you'll get your fight. I'd love to stay, but I have other priorities right now." He laughed his annoying, yet evil laugh and disappeared in another one of those black portals, taking Mia with him. Anubis watched in horror.

"No….Mia! No!!!!"


Mia's blue eyes fluttered open and she found herself in a strange and unfamiliar place. She groaned slightly as she put a hand to her head. She remembered Taitou surprising her….then she screamed….and he hit her. She felt a trail of blood running down her face before she blacked out but as she ran her hand down her cheek the blood and the wound was gone. She looked around and to her astonishment, was laying on a black velvet covered bed. It was soft and warm, but it had an uneasy feeling to it and Mia felt as if she had to get out and quickly. She sat up and looked around the bed but she saw nothing but shadows.

She also found that she was no longer in her jeans and shirt. She yelped slightly as she looked down at her new attire. She was wearing tight, black leather pants that flared slightly. She had on an even tighter short sleeved, low cut shirt that was black leather also and showed quite a bit of her stomach. She wore black boots that had 3 inch heels and came up to mid calf but were covered mostly by her pants. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail with light wisps framing her face.

"I see you're awake now." Taitou's voice rang in the room and Mia's eyes instantly darted to the source of the noise. Taitou's tall and muscular form emerged from the shadows. He had one hand behind his back. "I have a surprise for you Mia." He smiled wickedly. Mia backed against the bed backing as Taitou sat on the edge of the bed. He pulled his hand out from behind his back to reveal the silver necklace. Mia felt like running, but she could move. "Don't struggle darling, it will only hurt for a moment." The ice blue-pearled necklace suddenly disappeared from his hand and appeared around her neck. It was tight and the perfect length. It fell right in the curve of her collarbone. She gave Taitou a frightened looked just before a waved of black energy swept over her body. She screamed in pain as tears formed in here eyes.

"At last, you are mine." She heard Taitou's dark voice before she was consumed by an evil darkness that flooded her mind and soul.
