Mia sat on the ledge of her
balcony, the ronins and Anubis had gone out
to look around. The only others in the house were Yuli and Whiteblaze.
All of this was getting complicated. No matter how much she thought
about it, she couldn't figure out what was going on with Tenko
and Anubis.
Why was she so determined about him? Somehow, it all seemed to
be connected
with that child, Jauncy. Anubis had once told her that the child
could stop
Tenko, but how could such a small child have the power to do that?
How could it be that the ronin warriors and Anubis could not seem
to
dystroy her, yet this small helpless child could?
Even if Jauncy could stop her, they would have to find the child
first.
"Someday, things will be as they always were"
Mia went back into the house, closing the balcony door behind
her.
It was a cold night, not one to be standing outside in. Infact,
tonight
was probably the coldest yet.
"How can it be so cold in August?" Mia closed another
window, it had been
sudden. "Unless it's the dynasty"
"Tenko, are you sure this
is neccesary?" Gaitin asked unsurely.
Tenko had her back turned to him, looking out the window.
"Isn't it a bit, drastic?" Gaitin wondered if she was
even awake.
She never turned around. "Drastic times call for drastic
measures"
Tenko watched the snow fall. "If they want to ruin everything,
then
they will die. I'll ice over the entire mortal realm, freezing
the ronin
warriors"
"Of course"Gaitin bowed and left.
Tenko whispered as her eyes turned to a glare. "Including
You, Mia"
She spun around and walked towards the door, pausing only to smirk.
"And if neccesary, you too, Anubis"
